Prior to his role as one of the Owner / Operators of Atlanta Metro Studios, Ed (a film and television producer based in Atlanta since 1992) had spent decades in the entertainment industry.  His experience includes extensive creative and production management as a producer in Turner Broadcasting’s Entertainment Group at Cartoon Network, TBS and Turner South, as well as owning and operating R&R Productions Worldwide, an Atlanta based production company for the past 13 years. He has produced, line produced and production managed feature length films and teleplays, executive produced and produced original television series content, as well as countless commercial projects for blue chip brands over the last 20 years. Ed is a graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta and Louisiana State University. He is currently producing a feature film adaptation of legendary Georgia author Flannery O’Connor’s literary masterpiece, A Good Man is Hard to Find. Ed is a member of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the American Film Institute, the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce’s Innovation and Technology Committee, the Union City Tourism Board, the James D. Brubaker Film Scholarship Fund Advisory Board and was named as one of James Magazine’s Most Influential Georgians for 2016.
